Chapel Walls is operated by Narthex Studio in the United States. Contact: hello@chapelwalls.com. This policy covers this website and correspondence sent to its contact address.
Visiting this site
This site has no advertising, account registration, analytics scripts or cookies. Fonts and images are served from this site. Cloudflare hosts and secures the site and processes request information, including IP addresses, to deliver pages and prevent abuse. Hosting traffic statistics may include bots and are not a count of individual readers. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
When you contact us
We receive your email address, sender and recipient details, subject, dates, message and any information you send, and keep triage and thread-status information. We use this information to answer requests, handle support and legal matters, and resolve problems. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or sensitive personal information.
GABRIEL, our agent-assisted inbox on Cloudflare, helps sort messages and prepare replies. Replies require operator approval. Cloudflare and the service providers used for agent assistance and email delivery process correspondence for these purposes.
Until November 17, 2026 (12:57 UTC), incoming mail is also copied to the owner's personal mailbox during the transition. Forwarding then stops. Copies already received remain subject to the same correspondence retention policy.
We do not sell personal information or use support and legal messages for advertising. Sending a support message does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Correspondence retention and your rights
We keep support and legal correspondence for 12 months after its thread closes, then delete it, including our working copies and temporary mailbox copies. Records that the law requires us to retain are kept only for the required period. Provider backups and security records follow their service retention schedules; deletion from the active inbox does not mean immediate erasure from every backup.
Write to us to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information. We may need to verify your request using only information reasonably necessary. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restriction, objection and portability, to withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing, and to complain to a data protection regulator, including in the EU or UK.
Free-session signup through Kit
The free-session link takes you to a page hosted by Kit. The form asks only for your email address. We use double opt-in: you receive an email asking you to confirm your signup before the subscription is activated. The signup includes the free session and a few emails each season about Chapel Walls sacred art, films and guides, including the $9 guide, as stated on the signup page.
Kit stores your subscription details and records signup and email activity, such as opens and clicks, to deliver the sample and help us understand which emails are useful. Kit’s hosted pages and emails may use cookies and similar technologies; our own-site no-cookie and no-analytics statements do not describe Kit. See Kit’s privacy notice and its data processing addendum for subscriber processing. Narthex Studio remains responsible for our mailing list.
Use the unsubscribe link in an email to stop marketing, or contact hello@chapelwalls.com to request removal of your details. We keep subscription information to manage the list until you request deletion or we end the list. Unsubscribing stops marketing but does not by itself erase every subscription record; limited suppression records may be kept to honor opt-outs. The 12-month correspondence period above applies to support and legal threads, not the mailing list. We do not sell your email address.
Planned guide purchases through Gumroad
The $9 Advent with the Masters guide is coming soon. When available, purchases will take place on Gumroad. Gumroad and its payment providers process purchase, payment and delivery information under Gumroad’s privacy policy. We use order information made available to us to help with delivery, support, refunds and required business records. Purchase records have separate retention requirements from support correspondence. Buying a guide does not by itself subscribe you to our Kit mailing list.
Other websites and children
Links to social networks and other projects take you to services with their own privacy practices. Chapel Words has its own privacy policy, including details of optional family circles and game data. This website does not ask children under 13 to submit personal information. A parent or guardian can contact us about a child’s information.
International visitors
We operate in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Contact us with questions about where your information is processed and any applicable transfer safeguards.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date.
